Terms of Use
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Organized Occasions. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 to use Organized Occasions. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
Using the service
- Organized Occasions is a planning tool. Hosts are responsible for their events, including the details they share, any money they collect from guests, and the safety of their gatherings.
- Anyone with a link can use it, so share host links only with people you trust to edit the event.
- Don't use the site for anything illegal, to harass or impersonate anyone, to send spam, or to post content you don't have the right to share.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's security.
- We may remove content or events that break these rules, and we may stop anyone who misuses the service from using it.
Your content
You own what you add. You give us permission to store it, copy it as needed to run the service, and show it to the people you share your event with. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups that expire on their own.
Smart helper suggestions
Plans, to-dos, summaries, gift ideas and themes drafted by Claude are suggestions. Check them before relying on them, especially dates, prices, travel details and anything about food allergies.
Event Pass and refunds
- The Event Pass is a one-time $4.99 purchase that unlocks pro tools for one event. It isn't a subscription and never renews.
- Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms.
- If the Pass doesn't work for you, contact us at support@organizedoccasions.app within 14 days of buying it, and we'll refund the full amount.
- Prices may change, but a change never affects a Pass you've already bought.
Money between guests
Cost splits and pay links are a convenience. Payments between hosts and guests happen in other apps, like Venmo, Cash App or PayPal, and are between them. Organized Occasions doesn't hold, move or guarantee that money.
Third-party services
Maps, weather, flight status, calendar buttons and place suggestions come from other companies. We aren't responsible for their accuracy or availability.
No guarantees
We work to keep the site running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Alerts, weather, flight status and place lookups can be late or wrong. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, such as a missed event or a lost deposit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50, whichever is greater.
Disputes
If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state where Organized Occasions is operated, and any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the courts located there.
Ending use
You can stop using Organized Occasions anytime. Hosts can delete their events, and guests can delete their RSVPs. We may shut down the service with at least 30 days' notice on the site, so you have time to save what you need.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll post a notice on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept it. Questions: support@organizedoccasions.app.
